Marc Nethercot
Instrumentation: Any Brass/Wind Instrument (Solo)
Length: 3 Minutes
Difficulty: Grade 7
This piece, originally commissioned as a flugel solo, is suitable for just about any brass or wind soloist.
This score has everything the discerning musician looks for from a solo: the chance to show off, light accessible contemporary writing. And a squeaky toy.
That's right! In Fanfare the soloist accompanies him/herself with a squeaky toy, like something a dog might play with. Just fix it to the stage and press it with your foot where indicated!
The piece has been performed in degree level music exams and professional evening recitals, now it's time for you to give this puppy a good home.
(squeaky toy not included!)

This piece is available in treble clef (as above, suitable for most brass/wind instruments), tenor clef (some trombonists prefer this etc.) and bass clef (bassoons, some euphonium players etc.). Just select your preferred clef below!
