Will you publish/sell my music?
YES! We are constantly looking for new music. Arrangements and original compositions are all good, copyrighted or otherwise. We are happy to hear from individuals and publishers looking for Australasian distribution. We work with publishers in other countries, and we're happy to work with you. We have amateurs and professionals on our books, we won't turn away any quality music. Back to top.

What is Scorch?
Sibelius Scorch is a browser plug-in that allows the user to view and listen to musical scores on the internet. By downloading Scorch once, you'll have access to thousands of scores on our site and others. The easiest way to download scorch for you internet browser is to visit a page that requires it. If you are not automatically prompted to install it or have any problems getting it to work, contact us. Remember Scorch only sounds as good as the midi processor on you computer! Back to top.
Scorch doesn't work properly!
We sometimes have some problems with it too. We understand how hard it is to make a program like that work with the many different computers, operating systems and browsers in use today.
Our advice for having a problem free time with scorch:
- Avoid having Scorch open in more than one tab or window at once.
- Appreciate that it may take a few seconds to load on older machines.
- Make sure you are not running any other plugins (like flash player etc.). Back to top.
What do I get for my money?
When you buy a piece of music you will receive a bound score with card covers and a complete set of parts. For ensembles with duplicate parts, you'll get the standard amount. For example, you'll get four solo cornet parts in a brass band piece and so on. Back to top.
How do I know if the item I want is in stock?
If it's on the site it's in stock, no exceptions! We print all sheet music in-house so we will always despatch to you within three business days (and usually the next day). The option to buy CDs/accessories is disabled if we are waiting on stock. Back to top.
What are my shipping options?
Orders to be delivered within New Zealand are sent by standard domestic mail. Orders for Australia or international destinations are sent by airmail.
Bear in mind we don't accept responsibility for orders after they have been despatched. If your order is particularly urgent or their are security issues, reigstered/insured/couriered post may be arranged. Please contact us before you place your order because we desptach fast!
Domestic post normally takes a couple of days, airmail is six days to Australia and up to a couple of weeks for the rest of the world. Back to top.
Why do I have to pay GST if I live outside New Zealand?
In an effort to make our pricing as transparent as possible all prices on our website include GST at 12.5%. Rather than create confusion and extra hassle for our international visitors we charge the same amount to them - this is then offset against postage costs. So far no one from outside NZ has had to pay more 'GST' than the postage on their products has cost so everyone is winning.
How can I pay?
Pretty much however you like! Credit card payments are handled by PayPal, a safe, secure and reliable payment processor on our behalf. Your card details are handled by a secure server and never stored. The cards you can use vary depending which country you live in but will always include Visa and Mastercard.
Bank transfers can be made directly in to our account and we also accept cheques from customers in New Zealand dollars. If none of these methods is suitable for you, please contact us and we'll sort it. Back to top.
Can I get a quote/invoice before I pay for the purposes of grants/sponsorships?
Certainly. Simply go through checkout and select that option and we'll email it to you as soon as possible. Back to top.
What is your refund policy?
Please choose your pieces carefully - we do not have to refund you if you don't like them or they are too hard/easy! Examine the Scorch preview all of the way through and be absolutely sure you are buying the piece you want. We are always ready to offer advice to help you make the right choices.
We will replace damaged/faulty goods at no cost to you. Refunds are only given to correct errors processing the transaction at our end.
Note that refunds are not given for orders lost or damaged after we have despatched them, contact us and ask about insured/tracked options if this is a concern for you.
Please contact us before returning any merchandise.
We aim to provide a great service and will work with you to fix any problem and have you walking away happy. Back to top.
I would like a piece of music written for me/us, can you help?
